Weihai, China – August 2018
The 2018 International Blue Carbon Scientific and Policy Working Group meeting was held from August 28 to September 1 in Weihai, China. Dr. Guanghcheng Chen from the Third Institute of Oceanography in Xiamen, China graciously offered to co-host the meeting.
The meeting focused on blue carbon in the Asian-Pacific region, with the purpose of sharing the best practices and findings of blue carbon research and advancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of blue carbon science and policy.
