Paris, France – February 2011
The Blue Carbon Scientific Working Group Workshop met in February 2011 at the UNESCO office in Paris, France. This first meeting established the Working Group’s objectives, identified the expertise, data and analysis needed to achieve those objectives, and identified necessary steps to include blue carbon in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 5th Assessment Report.
