Conservation International will host the next meeting of the International Blue Carbon Policy Working Group will be in Arlington, VA USA, where approximately 25 experts on climate change and coastal policy issues will coming together to discuss policy developments and needs on Blue Carbon, particularly the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

    Rio Grande, Brazil – Hosted by the Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) the proposed three-day meeting will bring together the research community and regional leaders to assess the status of Brazil’s coastal wetland systems and identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for future research. Meeting attendees will take an active role in developing a regional network of blue carbon experts and identifying priority geographies, projects and needs.
