Costa Rica – March 2012
In March 2012, the Working Group met in Costa Rica to review the latest draft of the Field Manual for Carbon Accounting in Mangroves, Seagrasses and Tidal Salt Marshes and to provide technical support to the IPCC Supplemental Guidelines on national Greenhouse Gas Accounting for Wetlands. The Working Group also advised the Costa Rican Park Service on developing blue carbon-based management and incentive approaches.
